A domain name is basically the web address of your website (i.e. the ‘www’ address) and it is also the suffix of your email addresses (i.e. info@’domainname.com‘)
Domain Management can be a tricky thing if you’re not familiar with how these work.
This is not only choosing the right domain name for your website, but also managing it to ‘point’ to your website once you have registered it.
There are a number of technical elements that XCEL Web Design manages on behalf of its customers (at no additional cost), such as the email address management and ensuring the settings are properly configured for the domain’s emails to work.
If you don’t currently have a domain, we can also register one for you through our Domain Registration service.
If you DO already have a domain, we can transfer this for you as well in some cases, or leave it with your current registrar.
If you want to use our Web Hosting service, we can manage the domain transfer process to minimise disruption and ‘downtime’ of your site.
